Helping Hands provides help to those who are unable to repair and maintain their own homes, primarily single parents and widows.

Participants in the Helping Hands group are people of all ages and stages and abilities. We would like to know if you have any specific skills (i.e. concrete, plumbing, electric, etc.) and/or tools that you could utilize in this ministry.

We ask our Helping Hands volunteers to be prepared to serve at least one day per month. The dates are usually sent out 2-3 weeks in advance so everyone has a chance to plan with their existing calendar. Most projects will be on Saturdays or Sundays. In the warmer months, there may be some work days on weekday evenings.

The homes we serve are mostly (but not solely) from the gracespring Bible Church body. We have service opportunities that are around a 35-40 minute radius of the church.

We do have a Helping Hands Volunteer Waiver that we need to have on file in order for you to participate.
