Description

  • What are we hoping to accomplish through this Group?
    • Connection, care, mentoring, service, and growth
  • Who are we trying to reach?
    • Those in the 4th quarter of life (65+), so that they feel seen, known, and loved. We want to care for this demographic well, and facilitate opportunities to invest back into younger generations. We especially have a passion to connect with those who are falling through the cracks or don't feel seen and known at gracespring.
  • What biblical foundations support this ministry?
    • The phrase "gray hair is a crown of glory" is a biblical proverb, specifically found in Proverbs 16:31. It signifies that gray hair, attained through a righteous life, is a symbol of honor and distinction, representing wisdom, experience, and a life well-lived. In many cultures, including ancient Israel, elders were revered for their accumulated wisdom and guidance, and this verse reflects that respect.

We also value multi-generational ministry, and have the blessing of all generations being represented among our gracespring Bible Church family. We desire to do a better job of integrating generations together, learning from each other, blessing each other, and encouraging each other to follow Jesus in every stage and season of life
